250 miles to the west. The John Johnson Farm, Isaac Morley Farm and of course the Kirtland Temple. A wonderful visitor's center with old town Kirtland rebuilt. These are the major Church History sites. If you were to have any time left, I would suggest must sees as: Niagara Falls (70 miles from Palmyra Inn), Erie Canal (Palmyra, New York), Gettysburg (6 hours to the south), and Amish/Mennonite communities in a number of places. Then, if time permits, Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. are all within driving distance of Palmyra, New York. We can help you plan and make arrangements for you to get there. |
