The Palmyra Inn Internship Program
3 - 6 Internships Available
THE PALMYRA INN is situated
in one of the most serene settings in all of the U.S., and
the accommodations at the Inn just add to the enticing ambiance
of this enchanted location in upstate New York.
Beginning August of 2005, this incredible new
establishment opened its doors in invitation to guests from
all over the world. Throughout the year the Inn is dedicated
to the needs of those visiting the surrounding Historical
sites. While the Inn continues to cater to the comfort of
guests during the summer, fall, and winter months, it also
offers internship opportunities for students looking for experience
in BUSINESS, HISTORY, MARKETING, HOTEL MANAGEMENT
and HOSPITALITY & TOURISM.
The Palmyra Internship Program's intent is to
bring challenging and beneficial opportunities to students
by providing valuable experiences and practical application
of skills in a setting dedicated to students' training and
instruction. A few areas of training include front desk operations,
banquet room reservations, store inventory and retail, Continental
Breakfast duties (including set-up, inventory, and ordering),
general supply ordering, hotel marketing research, and creating
historical synopsis of surrounding sites for publication at
the Inn's store.

Below is a partial list of the Internships we are offering.

be required specific to each field.

publication. Other responsibilities not mentioned are possible.
